Regional Studies Association

The Regional Studies Association (RSA) is the global forum for city and regional research, development, and policy. As a leading learned society and membership organisation, the RSA brings together academics, practitioners, and policymakers from 67 countries, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in regional studies.

The RSA supports its members by providing access to the latest research, funding schemes, and professional development opportunities. They publish five leading academic journals, including the field leader, alongside a large book series and a dedicated magazine. Additionally, their knowledge exchange programme connects researchers with global institutions such as the European Commission, UN Habitat, the OECD, and the Committee of the Regions, helping to shape regional policy and practice worldwide.

By offering a platform for cutting-edge research, policy debate, and career growth, The RSA plays a vital role in advancing understanding and innovation in city and regional development.
