Netwalking: Queens Park

6 September, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

£17.00 - £20.00

Netwalking: Queens Park

From a whale bones to pepper boxes, we’ll be walking, talking and networking our way through Queens Park and Kemptown at our next Netwalking event.

Starting at the whale bone sculpture in Mighell Street – recently reinstated at Edward Street Quarter – we’ll wander up and around Queens Park, taking in some of the history and urban architecture in the surrounding area. Finished off with a cuppa or a coffee at a local cafe.

Led by Brighton resident, Rohun Bouri, Lab Manager at Barclays Eagle Lab.

Netwalking is your opportunity to meet new business friends and make connections in a relaxed format that helps conversation flow naturally as you walk, talk, and discover a different part of our city.

We’ll pop you into small groups as we go and move everyone around at regular intervals, so you’ll get to meet plenty of people as we walk and network outdoors (come rain or shine!)

John Young, John Young Media joined our second netwalking session and said:

“Everything worked. It flowed, it was authentic, it was relaxed — skilfully led by Steve, with just the right amount of pausing and chances to mix it up. It was, truly, the best networking event I have been to since I first nervously stepped into it five years ago. “

Barclays Eagle Labs is a national platform that connects and supports the entrepreneurial ecosystem, creating opportunities for ambitious business founders and giving them access to a broad range of skills and services to help their business grow.
