The new Sussex Innovation site in Croydon opened its doors for the first time last week, welcoming local businesses for an Open House event.

More than 80 Croydon residents visited the new centre throughout the afternoon and evening of 22nd September to tour both of the newly-refurbished floors of No. 1 Croydon, network with other local business figures, and meet the Sussex Innovation support team.

Speaking at the event, Mike Herd, Executive Director of Sussex Innovation, said: “It’s great to welcome you all for a first look inside our new centre. We’re looking forward to getting stuck in and working with lots of exciting new businesses here.

“Innovation centres like this one thrive on people and ideas – I’m greatly looking forward to meeting lots of new people and hearing lots of new ideas here at Sussex Innovation – Croydon.”
