The Maria Paviour Company are celebrating the news that that they, and founder Maria Paviour, have been shortlisted for three East Sussex Women in Business Awards.

The prestigious awards celebrate female business excellence within the East Sussex area. The final will take place on 20th July at the Cavendish Hotel in Eastbourne. The judges include Family Law Solicitor Alexandra Funnell, Brewers People Director Alison Lawfield, Johnston Press editor Keith Ridley, and Business Development Manager for the Eastbourne unLtd Chamber of Commerce Stephen Holt.

Maria has been nominated for the Business Woman of the Year award independently, while the Maria Paviour Company has been nominated for the Small Business Award and the Innovation Award.

The business has demonstrated that it is a trailblazer with a series of innovations – defining it as a clear market leader for developing a suite of unique products and services that help both individuals and organisations to gain outstanding results.

Maria has developed a unique employee wellbeing survey (CARI), which is now a psychologically sophisticated evidence-based method for assessing and measuring organisational wellbeing data. CARI is the only staff engagement survey in the world that measures cognitive and emotional responses. In addition, she has created the original NeuChem® Leadership and Coaching systems, launched the unique School of NeuChem® Coaching, and is offering organisations the first NeuChem® qualified Coaches.

The Maria Paviour team has grown from just two people in 2013, to a team of 8, offering a number of internships to students or graduates from the University of Sussex, resulting in full time employment for those interns.
