The Investment Bootcamp is a 6 week programme of facilitated workshops and coaching sessions, designed to help start-up founders prepare for their first raise. Alongside hearing from our expert advisors you’ll get a chance to speak to active investors and find out what they look for in businesses. At the end of the programme, up to 6 founders will get a chance to deliver their pitch to investors at a “Dragon’s Den”-style event which will be held in June.

This week, Sussex Innovation’s Head of Venures, Neema Amin will be speaking to Harold Gunstock, Founder and Chief Kelper at Carbon Kapture. By using a combination of nature-based solutions and aquaculture farming, Carbon Kapture creates practical ways to repurpose CO2 and nutrient pollution that is stored within our oceans. In under 2 years, Howard has turned a concept business into a reality and now Carbon Kapture aims to be a global player in the supply and effective use of nature-based solutions and aquaculture to capture carbon. We’ll hear from Howard about his journey to investment.
