Cells4Life Ltd
Cells4Life is a new company offering a service to enable cryopreservation of stem cells via umbilical cord blood collection and storage; they joined the Centre in 2003. The stem cells are collected during a natural birth and stored at the Centre for an individual child. The use of stem cells has now been demonstrated in the treatment of many serious diseases. The company was formed by two UK doctors to store the cells for their own children, Cells4Life and offers the only UK storage facility of this type.
