Environmental Trends - The Impact on your Business

This highly informative event focussed on the environmental trends within business. The issues relating to changes in the environment can be viewed as negative or as a huge opportunity for businesses to innovate and capitalise. The event enabled four entrepreneurs to present their innovative technologies and businesses to a packed audience of customers, investors and an expert panel of enviromental and sustainability experts. Entrepreneurs and panellists included:

Calvey Taylor-Haw - Elektromotive
Paul Beckett - Phlorum
Neal Etchell - Syntonic Solar
Peter Brown - Bright Green Store
Richard Barrington, Head of Public Policy - UK and Ireland, Sun Microsystems
Dr Martin Blake, Head of Sustainability, Royal Mail
Peter Hofman, Director Sustainable Future, EDF Energy
Dr Jim Watson, Deputy Leader, Sussex Energy Group
Jane Ashton, Head of CSR, First Choice

The presentations were followed by open questions and then intermission, a great opportunity to network with a glass of wine and delicious buffet.

The final part of the evening presented a rare and facinating opportunity for high level open discussion, an insight into future direction, needs and new technologies with the panel of industry leading experts.

The New Product Network aims to bring customers face-to-face with entrepreneurs and their products and services at an early stage, where they can have a real impact shaping future development plans.
